Giga Information Group is a consulting company based in Cambridge Mass. which is assisting colleges and universities prepare for the year 2000. Ann Coffou will discuss Y2K considerations that are not obvious to most people and some suggestions for setting priorities.

10:30-12:30 - College and University Panel

Panel members represent institutions of various size and complexity. They will describe Year 2000 preparations being made on their campuses. Topics to be addressed include central computing, desktop systems, networks, physical plant, health and safety, community relationships, and the overall responsibility structure.
