This conference will focus on how WebCT is being implemented at various colleges and universities throughout New Jersey. The President of WebCT, Murray W. Goldberg, and panelists including faculty, staff, and administrators from various higher education institutions in New Jersey will be invited to share their experiences and thoughts on using WebCT to provide Web-based courses. Panelists will discuss how WebCT is being deployed at their respective institutions, the role of various individuals and departments in its implementation, and their perspectives on the place of Web-based courses in the educational process.

Mr. Goldberg will discuss the evolution of the WebCT product, its acceptance and use by colleges and universities, and plans for the future. He will also offer his insight regarding the rapidly growing field of distance learning and the use of Web-based courses.
